I’m writing this review after clearing the Idol Mode (a raising sim + rhythm game hybrid). This I consider the highlight feature, so I’ve now experienced one major element of the game. If I tried to cover everything, I’d probably blow past the 800-character review limit.

Compared to the main story, the serious atmosphere is pretty much gone in both the scenario and Idol Mode. Well, I don’t think anyone’s buying this expecting a serious narrative, so I’d say that’s the right call.

When you stop and think about it, the stuff they’re doing is ridiculous. But they commit to it so thoroughly that you can just turn your brain off and enjoy it in the best way possible. The fact that they deliver the kind of quality you’d never see in a doujin game while doing things only a doujin game could get away with is, to put it mildly, amazing.

One word of caution—you can probably guess this already, but Idol Mode includes casting couch events. As of now, these bypass the NTR OFF option. So make sure you don’t press any suspicious-looking menu options. If you don’t press them, you can avoid it entirely. I don’t think it’s required for progression.

That said, there are a fair number of casting couch-type business events. So people who can’t handle NTR might feel like they’re missing out a bit in Idol Mode. But then again, the same goes for NTR events in general. So your best bet is to just not worry about it.

As a casual single-player FPS action game I can pick up whenever I have free time, it’s been a huge help. I plan to keep chipping away at it and enjoying all the different elements it has to offer.

Idol Mode has a really polished UI, comes with dedicated events (including H-scenes). Even works as a decent little rhythm game on its own. So that alone already feels like more content than the price warrants. If you bought the previous game, don’t hesitate—just buy it. If you haven’t bought the previous game. There’s a bundle with the main game and the expansion patch, so grab that instead.

The FPS gameplay is fun as always. The additional ACTs are really enjoyable with plenty of challenge on higher difficulties.

However, the Idol Mode was a bit… underwhelming. Up to a certain point, you’re raising and managing idols like solving a shogi puzzle. Make one small mistake and you have to start over from scratch or reload from just before. It was honestly painful.

It really looked like they poured a lot of development resources into Idol Mode, so personally. I wish they’d put more effort into the FPS side and the erotic content instead.

That said, this level of quality for 2,000 yen is incredible! Highly recommended.
As for the vocal tracks, Smiling Gunshot! is my favorite, hands down.

The previous game was insanely high quality, so I bought this immediately!!
New elements, new stages, new characters, and new scenes — it’s packed with exciting content!!

*Note: This is an add-on pack, so keep in mind you need to own the base game.
If you’re someone who wants fun gameplay and not just the ero content, I think this is absolutely worth buying. (Think of it as L**ft ** De**d but with ero elements and it makes sense.)
Of course, the quality and volume of the ero scenes are also insanely good!!

A major update to SoD, a 3D TPS zombie shooting game where you mow down zombies.

In terms of gameplay, you progress through stages alongside the heroines. Fighting off zombies as you push toward the deepest area. The recommended specs are on the higher side, so checking performance with the demo is a must. But the gameplay itself is solid and enjoyable. During stages, you can recover health through H-scenes. This is a nice touch that helps even players who struggle with the action to clear the game.

The H-scenes feature animated 3D models and come in three main varieties: zombie violation H-animations during stages. Pure love H-scenes that trigger as the protagonist deepens his bond with the heroines, and NTR H-scenes unlocked by completing requests from certain NPCs.

Everything above also applies to the previous version, but this update doesn’t just add new stages and H-scenes. It also introduces an idol training mode, massively expanding the content across the board. If you enjoyed the previous version, this is a must-buy, no question about it.

If you haven’t played it yet, definitely pick up the Complete Edition.

Personally, the NTR H-scene with Ichika, the gamer girl character, was absolutely the best.
