エッチで一途なド田舎兄さまと、古式ゆかしい病弱妹: Explore this heartwarming, ecchi RPG about nurturing a sickly sister in rural isolation.

Looking for a unique hentai game experience? Then check out this sickly days and summer traces review. This title from Whisp is a massive hit, with over 37,000 sales and a stellar 4.69/5 rating. As a result, it stands out as one of the top visual novels on DLsite. Moreover, it blends raising sim gameplay with heartwarming storytelling. In addition, the country siblings dynamic adds genuine emotional depth to each intimate encounter. Let’s see what makes this game worth your time.

Gameplay: What Makes It Unique

The gameplay in sickly days and summer traces revolves around an RPG-style game where players explore a countryside house map. Players trigger events that consume the sister’s HP; if her HP reaches 0, it results in a BAD END.

Additionally, the game features five distinct stages (Tier0~4), each with its own quotas and clear criteria. This tiered system is used to unlock new events while progressing through the narrative.

Meanwhile, the gameplay loop combines traditional visual novel elements with light RPG mechanics. Players must not only engage in story events but also manage the sister’s HP through careful choices. The game successfully merges visual novel storytelling with engaging RPG elements.

In short, sickly days and summer traces offers a unique blend of narrative and gameplay, making it a notable title among its peers.

What Makes It Fappable

Sickly Days and Summer Traces offers a rich array of adult content that adds depth to its RPG framework. The game’s design impresses with its CGs that bring intimate moments to life. In addition, the character design reflects a rural aesthetic. For example, gameplay events require careful management of your sister’s HP as you explore a countryside house map. If her HP reaches zero during an event, it results in a BAD END. Additionally, the work’s seiyuu cast includes notable voice talent like 天知遥, whose performance enhances the experience.

Beyond that, this title continues to impress with its blend of visual novel storytelling and RPG mechanics. Moreover, players must work through five distinct tiers—Tier0 to Tier4—to clear set quotas. This system encourages players to balance parameter management with the game’s erotic elements. Throughout these encounters, the game provides plenty of opportunity for fans to appreciate its intimate moments.

Characters & Art

Illustrator K子 gives the game its distinct visual charm. The art emphasizes soft, inviting colors and expressive character designs that breathe life into both protagonist siblings. Moreover, the attention to intricate details ensures that every scene remains engaging and immersive.

This title features a compelling contrast between characters. The protagonist’s robust demeanor stands in sharp opposition to his frail younger sister. Throughout the narrative, the consistent high quality of visuals is evident, particularly when exploring the sparkle of a countryside house map.

Animations in the game are notably fluid, especially during pivotal interactions. Additionally, the dynamic motion design further pulls players into this intimate world where events can consume HP and may lead to BAD END if HP reaches 0.

Story (Spoiler-Free)

Players take on the role of a brother caring for his frail younger sister Asumi. Unlike Whisp’s previous release Chun’s Virgin Sister, this title puts gameplay first. As a result, players must keep Asumi’s HP above zero during events. If it drops to zero, the game ends in a BAD END. Furthermore, five stages—Tier0 through Tier4—define the game’s progression.

H-scenes serve a dual purpose in this raising sim. They boost Asumi’s health while also deepening the siblings’ bond. Moreover, the countryside house setting creates a relaxing slow-life atmosphere. In addition, a dynamic system adjusts event trends based on in-game parameters. This adds a welcome layer of strategic depth.

The game builds on Whisp’s signature style with detailed art by K子. However, it goes beyond visuals. The slice-of-life storytelling blends naturally with simulation mechanics. As a result, fans of visual novels find more than just explicit content here. The focus on parameter management creates a rewarding gameplay loop.

Customer Reviews

The previous work “Chun’s Virgin Sister” focused on the scenario, but this one is a game that specializes in gameplay.

[Overview]
An RPG-style game where you explore the sparkle of a countryside house map and progress events. If your sister’s HP is consumed and reaches 0 during an event, it’s a BAD END.
There are five stages called Tier0~4, each with set quotas and clear criteria.

[Scenario]
There are 4 endings. Depending on the maximum HP and happiness of your sister Asumi at the end of Tier4, there are 3 types and one BAD. Conditions can be checked in EXTRA→TROPHY on the title screen.
The first H scene happens in the middle of Tier1 and takes about 0.5 to 1 hour. It takes about 3 hours to reach ED.

[How to Play]
Basically, it’s a stamina + repeat game. The only way to recover HP is to properly level up the bed, which occurs once in the game. Obtain the right to refuse Auntie Sensei’s “diagnosis,” keep three “refusals of diagnosis” until Tier4 for maximum HP and happiness, and increase parameters in Tier4 to reach each ED.

[Impressions]
Pros:
・ The industry-leading character design and painting are still alive. Those who resonate with long black-haired sisters will surely want to buy.
・ The usual lovely scenario with your sister is still present. This time, more Tinkle Position colors come out.
・ BGM with a slight black package scent of “just a little adult,” anal attacks, and bondage costume play.

Cons:
・ Although it pushes for rural summer, the stage is basically inside the house and its surroundings. Due to the sister’s settings, I wanted more summer feeling.
・ There are 3 endings, but the difference is only in the epilogue after ED credits. It’s a shame that there weren’t more enticing episodes about family or sub-characters.
・ Due to its repeat game characteristics, multiple playthroughs can become work-like. Even with Asumi’s HCG and acting, it tends to be Ctrl’d.

I hear that there will be ASMR and manga developments for this work in the future. I expect that these might complement the scenario and settings as well. I will continue to support you!!

A game about living in the countryside alone with your frail little sister, Asami. Compared to the previous installment, which was essentially an adventure game, a simulation game-like parameter management system has been added, expanding the scope of gameplay. While the option to choose your sister’s personality has been removed, a system has been adopted where the trends of events change depending on how you interact with her.

Overall, this is a flawless work. The quality of the text, CGs, music and other elements is extremely high, and the volume is more than sufficient. Despite being a game, it evokes a sense of nostalgia for something that shouldn’t exist, which is wonderfully atmospheric.

My grandmother once said, “You can’t get off to imouto characters if you have a real-life little sister.” But that’s where she’s wrong. I myself have a little sister who is two years my junior. And yet, I’ve conquered countless imouto characters over the years, many of whom I’ve gotten off to before helping them reach their peaceful demise. Don’t let them pass on in vain, Clemens.
So what am I getting at here? It’s that even if you have a real-life little sister, that doesn’t mean you can’t get off to imouto characters. In other words, it’s all about saying “Ah, Asumi is so cute, so beautiful, so erotic! Come on, come on, shit, shit!”

The game in question features Asumi, a frail and lovely younger sister who has spent a long time in the hospital due to her illness. She adores her older brother and is blessed with a voice, appearance, personality, standing picture, expression variations, and still compositions that are all unbelievably good. She’s unexpectedly playful and erotic with a sensitive anus—the very definition of an angel. And Asumi isn’t heavy at all!

With the concept of lazily spending time in the countryside with Asumi, this work has you enduring events while being tormented by Asumi’s loveliness and eroticism. It’s almost an ADV-style RPG where you carefully progress through events without letting Asumi’s HP drop to zero. You gradually increase her happiness value and maximum HP while achieving objectives and advancing through the story.

Since Asumi is frail, she starts off with low stamina and can’t even do light exercise at first. If you push her too hard, she’ll end up back in the hospital—and that leads to a bad end. But as you progress through events and increase her maximum HP, she’ll eventually be able to exercise properly.

Once she can exercise, what do you think happens next? Any intelligent older brother would know—of course it’s sex.

In any case, this work lets you get all hot and bothered (in more ways than one) by the lovely, beautiful, and erotic angel Asumi. The everyday events are genuinely heartwarming—all the more so because of the perverted gap they create when things suddenly get wildly erotic.

To sum up this wonderful work succinctly: it’s a game where you spend your days in a heartwarming countryside setting while engaging in perverted sexual acts with Asumi.

S-G’s 8-tier rating + α

Picture: SSS
After 1 second of starting, I was like, “Wait, is the graphic quality really this godly even though it’s a doujin game…!?”

After 3 seconds of starting, I was like, “Wait, even if it’s in the regular price range of around 3000 yen, it comes with a theme song…!?”

That being said, this game is overwhelmingly powerful as it blows away numerous low-priced games within a few seconds of launching. From the main heroine’s illustrations and “the act,” to daily life scenes, sub-characters, backgrounds, and even mini-animated game screens—there are no gaps whatsoever. Of course, there may be differences in preference and taste, but if you don’t feel any disgust from the thumbnail alone, it guarantees that you will be constantly happy visually.

Game: A+
After the initial daily life part started, I found myself watching the mini-dot animated younger sister move around for 3 minutes (true story). She is charmingly cute with her broom, occasionally coughing cutely—she is truly adorable.
The game content is a standard “lovely slow life” type and doesn’t have anything particularly noteworthy in itself. However, the main characters who color the story are all individualistic. Although they may seem like “typical” characters at first glance, each has unexpected and comedic aspects that keep you engaged in progressing through the story. The volume of text is neither too much nor too little—it carefully draws you into the emotions while progressing politely.
Moreover, the skillful use of expressions that mix in specialized terminology to add realism while presenting game over conditions without any sense of unnaturalness made me involuntarily marvel at its cleverness.

However, despite being so careful about asthma attacks, putting a “22nd-century cat-type robot nemesis” in your chest pocket is quite something, Sister-sensei…

Eroticism: SSS
With these pictures!! With such cuteness!! The younger sister!!! Engages in erotic acts!!!!?! Where can you possibly find fault with that!!!?!???!??

Overall
Thank you so much for releasing such a divine game at this price (prostrating myself in gratitude).

I bought this game without hesitation because I really liked the previous work, “The Virgin Brother Who Can’t Endure and the Rebellious Sister Who Can’t Become a Puppy.” The characters, story, and above all, the etch scenes were all stable, and the quality was incredible for a 3,000-yen price range…

The play content that reflects the producer’s quirks matched my own preferences again this time, making it the best experience.
※Note: I don’t think the play is that niche (personal opinion).

The story is also well-structured enough to be appreciated as an otome game, so I think you’ll be able to empathize with the characters.
